Why Bellak Math Prep?

Bellak Math Prep is a specially designed program to help students build a strong foundation in mathematics.  By targeting discerned needs in the area, Bellak Math Prep offers a supplement to the regular curriculum in schools. FCAT is a definite need, so a 20 week program centered on FCAT is offered.

Possible expansion of the program includes other areas of need, such as algebra, pre-algebra, and  basic math. The curriculum of Bellak Math Prep is customized to meet the needs of the students and the scheduling is flexible to also meet the needs of a busy community.

The instructor, Mrs. Sharon Bellak, provides professional experience and expertise accumulated through 41 years of teaching middle school mathematics and successfully coaching teams for the national MATHCOUNTS competition and the annual county Algebra contests. She is an award-winning teacher who uses interactive teaching while giving attention to detail, shortcuts, and unique explanations of the material.

Her goal is to help students learn the fundamentals of Mathematics and Algebra which are necessary in order to build their mathematical expertise.
